I know you’re wondering what self-care has to do with managing your time.
Simple.
If you make a habit of staying up too late to get things done and/or getting up early for the same reason, you most likely are sleep deprived. And how well do you function on not enough sleep?
When you don’t take care of yourself – and I know you put yourself last on the list, probably after the dog – you don’t have the energy or motivation to get through your days.
Your work suffers, your body and mind and soul suffer, and the ones you love suffer too.
It’s a no-win situation.
You know what? Last year I found out that I had had a heart attack that I never knew about. Now that’s a wake-up call for better self-care!
